Detailed description
This treatment consists in placing Titanium implants (screws) into the jaw bone which
replace missing teeth. Sometimes it's required to perform bone grafting (replace lost jaw bone with
artificial bone or patient's own bone). Modern treatment with implants is safe, very efficient and
gives the chance to return to correct appearance, speaking and chewing without removable dentures
which need to be removed and cleaned after each meal. Thanks to implants it's not needed to
destroy (prepare) teeth that surround gaps. Artificial teeth fixed on implants behave like natural
teeth and thanks to this, the jaw bone is supplied with blood and the there is no bone loss process.
The Titanium implants integrate with the bone and remain there forever, whereas traditional bridges
should be replaced after 12 - 15 years and dentures every 5 years. The treatment with implants is
carried out in 3 stages. Stage 1: placing of Titanium implants (screws) into the jaw bone to replace
missing teeth and making temporary prosthetic reconstruction. Stage 2: after approx. 3 - 6 months
placing of special healing rings which allow the gum to grow around the implants. Stage 3: after
