Detailed description
Acrylic dentures.
They are movable restorations made of acrylic. The main indication for their use are cases of toothlessness or extensive lack of teeth when there is no possibility to perform other types of restorations (partial dentures or bridges).
Acrylic dentures should be checked every 6-12 months by a dentist, who may commission their relining.
Frame dentures.
Frame dentures are movable prosthetic restorations based not only on the gums and mucous membranes, but also on the teeth and because of that do not cause increased bone and gum loss. Done properly can serve the patient for many years.
Overdenture protheses.
Overdenture prostheses are movable prosthetic restorations, attached to the roots or implants with a system of special attachments (eg. ball shaped, locator abutments). These complements fulfil the requirements of aesthetics, protect against loss of bone in jaws and provide acceptable comfort for the patient. Currently are mainly performed overdenture prosthesis based on two implants in the lower jaw and four implants in the upper jaw of edentulous patients, which dramatically improves the comfort of use compared to acrylic dentures.

Proteza natychmiastowa to ruchome uzupełnienie protetyczne, które zostaje oddane pacjentowi bezpośrednio po zabiegu po usunięciu zębów. Wszystkie czynności związane z wykonaniem protezy są przeprowadzane przed usunięciem zębów. Takie postępowanie pozwala na uniknięcie przykrej dla pacjenta sytuacji braku zębów, zapewnia normalne warunki życia i możliwość kontynuowania pracy zawodowej. Wpływa również bardzo korzystnie na gojenie się ran poekstrakcyjnych.
